A walk on the breakwater

Walks are an important part of dissertation writing for me. It was a gorgeous Autumn day today, perfect for a walk. The sea was restless, so was I. I don't know about you but when the nature and my emotions are in sync, it is an euphoric experience. Besides, as Nietzsche stated “All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking.”

On the right side of the breakwater you see what goes on in my mind, the chaos, the fervor, the brute power, this poetic beauty and excitement, and on the left you see how things look on a piece of paper after being written, tamed and painfully boring.

"Writing is one way of making the world our own, and ... walking is another.”
