Is there a real you?

Just as I was trying to figure out how to represent my identity in my dissertation, which is an autoethnographic case study, I stumbled upon this TED talk on the question 'is there a real you?' by Julian Baggini. The moral of the video was exactly what I needed to remember before going into an existential crisis about my essence and consequently (God forbid) a writer's block :-). It's comforting to hear that I do not have an essence and I do not have to capture a ghost, but I cannot come back empty handed either. So the question remains as the creation, of myself by myself, continues. Who am I? Sigh! Anyway, hope you enjoy the video too.
